DiscoLocas started with the idea to open up a safe and supportive space where women selectoras and DJs felt comfortable sharing their vinyl selections. The first party happened in March of 2022, and in each of them, women have taken over the turntables. More than a party, DiscoLocas is a club that brings together selectoras and DJs, everyone with different styles and offering a curation to make people dance, enjoy the music and showcase the ever present and beautiful vinyl culture. It is a platform that women crazy for music needed and that continues to grow in community.
