  • There are many options for staying in Downtown State College, which is a 15-minute drive from Rhoneymeade Arboretum, including hotels and Airbnbs. Stay tuned for when our partner hotel block goes live!

    New this year, we are offering onsite tent camping options at Rhoneymeade Arboretum for the duration of the festival. Camping permits are $30 per day. Bring your own gear! Head to the Network For Good-based ticketing page to get a camping permit.

  • Yes! There are posters, tshirts, and totes from this year and from previous iterations of the fest available on-site, and at pop-ups leading up to the fest throughout Downtown State College.

  • Yes, you can! Sponsorships and donations for the event can be made here, on the ticketing page.

    We do need volunteers to perform a variety of roles, including on-site ticket and merch sales, bartending (for those RAMP certified), and running for the event team. If you’re interested in more information or a specific volunteer role, please fill out this form! We greatly appreciate your support of this one-of-a-kind, artist-run festival here in Central PA.

  • Flying, driving, and bussing in are all an option! The State College Regional Airport (SCE) often has daily flights from major cities, and they have multiple rental car services.

    Both Megabus and Greyhound serve State College with multiple trips per day.

    There is also Amtrak service to Altoona, PA or Lewistown, PA, both of which are within a 1 hour drive from State College/Centre Hall.

    If you come by car, State College and Centre Hall are a 2.5 hour drive from Pittsburgh, a 1.5 hour drive from Harrisburg, a 3.5 hour drive from Philadelphia, a 3.5 hour drive from Washington, DC, and a 4 hour drive from New York.

    Once within the State College area, you can use the CATA bus network to get around Downtown State College. Uber and Lyft are also available throughout the area. For the fest on Saturday and Sunday, driving and carpooling are the simplest options.

    The area also has a variety of bike paths. From Downtown State College to Rhoneymeade Arboretum, it is a 1 hour ride. Stay tuned for information about a community ride to Rhoneymeade!

  • On Thursday and Friday, paid garage parking and street parking are available throughout Downtown State College. The garage nearest the State Theatre is the Fraser Street Garage (135 S Fraser St). The garage nearest 3 Dots Downtown is the Pugh Street Garage (126 S Pugh St). We recommend downloading the Parkmobile app in advance for easy metered street parking.

    At Rhoneymeade, there is ample parking on gravel and grass.

  • Yes, we will have professional photographers and videographers on-site for all days of the fest. Photos and videos will be used for future fest promotion. Attendees are also encouraged to take and post photos and videos through their own social media networks using the hashtag #RhoneymeadeFest. If you have any questions or concerns about the use of photos and videos taken by our team, please contact us and let us know.

  • On Thursday and Friday, the fest takes place throughout Downtown State College. Many local restaurants and bars will be open throughout the fest hours on these days. Both 3 Dots Downtown and the State Theatre have in-house bars and nonalcoholic options.

    At Rhoneymeade Arboretum on Saturday and Sunday, we will have on-site catering by Carter’s Table, with vegan and vegetarian options. We will also have an on-site bar with beer from Boal City Brewing, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic options, payable with cash and/or Venmo.

  • Yes! Rhoneymeade Fest is family friendly. Folks 17 and under get in free! We have some hands-on activities and a play area planned for our youngest fest attendees - but who doesn’t want to play with the rainbow parachute?

  • Thursday is held inside, and Friday is held both inside and outside. Saturday and Sunday are both held outside at Rhoneymeade Arboretum, with the art gallery open, fest store, and merch tables inside the main building.

    Most attendees bring chairs or a picnic blanket for Saturday and Sunday. Please keep an eye on the weather ahead of your attendance, dress comfortably, and bring water.

  • The Downtown State College venues are ADA compliant. Walking and seating for concerts at Rhoneymeade Arboretum is on sloping grass in a natural amphitheater. Parking is on a gravel drive and grass. Apart from the amphitheater area, most of the terrain at Rhoneymeade is flat. The art gallery area in the main building at Rhoneymeade is accessible via two entrances.
